I'm having similar issues, but since I'm Bogus my issues are far more awesome than just my new graphics card crashing. My system periodically crashes after installing a 7770 GHz a couple of days ago with the same symptoms as everyone else. Lowering Eve's graphics settings, if anything, made the problem worse as it went from only happening when probing with the system map open to happening randomly in station when not doing anything. My particular manifestation is alternating horizontal lines that looks something like this.

However, the card also has another issue which I also had with a 6670, which is what I call Dr. Timothy Leary mode. When alt-tabbing or frapsing the client displays wild rainbow colors which can be recorded (and indeed, anything I fraps is a video version of this).

The 6670 also had some random, non fatal but truly glorious artifacting the first time someone fired a missile in an Eve session--basically the system renders a big striped square in space.

Tried a number of games this afternoon--Crysis, Skyrim, MWO beta--and am unable to replicate the crash or the weird fraps colors in anything but Eve. Lobbed an issue on the AMD support forum but so far the folks there have been rather less than helpful. At this point I'm not sure what the next move is, I like my hardware to be efficient and I don't see why I should be forced to go with an nVidia card that uses 50% more juice because of a single game not behaving but with AMD and CCP pointing the finger at each other and the former backing off driver support for XP I'll likely get a 650Ti in someone's holiday weekend sale. Hopefully if I do it won't overheat while rendering Windows like the last nVidia product I bought did. Between the two of them I have had enough issues to last quite a few more years and I just don't have the patience to play card doctor again. Man, I miss 3dfx.
